Munawar Faruqui

Munawar Iqbal Faruqui is one of India’s most popular stand-up comedians. In 2022, he was the winner of the reality television show “Lock Upp Season 1” which was hosted by Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut. Faruqui garnered a lot of attention with the release of his comedic video “Dawood, Yamraaj & Aurat” on YouTube. His first song “Jawab” was released in August 2020 in collaboration with Spectra, an Indian musician.

Faruqui has been very active in the Indian comedy scene since his emergence.
