Kapil Sharma

Kapil Sharma is an Indian stand-up comedian and television host from Punjab, India. He is best known for hosting The Kapil Sharma Show and previously hosted and produced comedy shows such as Comedy Nights with Kapil and Family Time with Kapil on Colors TV and Sony TV, respectively. Sharma has also won multiple seasons of the comedy reality show Comedy Circus on Sony TV and finished as a second runner-up on the singing reality show Star ya rockstar on Zee TV. In addition to his work in television, Sharma has also appeared in films such as Bhavnao Ko Samjho, Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon, and Firangi, and provided the Hindi dubbing for The Angry Birds Movie 2. He is also known for his live stand-up comedy stage shows. Sharma first gained fame after winning the stand-up comedy reality show The Great Indian Laughter Challenge season 3 in 2007.
